Acute Care The Redwood Area Hospital is a 25-bed Acute Care Hospital.  Remodeled in 2008, the Acute Care floor consists of 17 private rooms, 3 semi-private rooms, 1 Sleep Study room and 2 labor/delivery and recovery rooms. We also offer: Swing Bed Program to help an individuals to recover from surgery or illness close to their home. Infusion Center to provide out-patient IV therapies on a very flexible schedule. Emergency Services in 4 private treatment rooms. Acute Care Patient Services are staffed 24 hours-a-day, with a team of skilled Registered Nurses (RN's) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's).
