The purpose of this program is to give kids, grades K-12 who have experienced the death of someone special, the opportunity to connect with others “who have been there.”
In a caring environment children/teens will be allowed to explore and express their feelings about death and change in their life. Activities include sharing our stories (by talking, writing, or drawing), working on art projects, watching a video and participating in remembrance ceremony.
All grief support and educational activities will be guided by social workers, staff, and volunteers from the Redwood Area Hospital Hospice Program.
If you have a need for youth grief support, contact Lacey Bruns, Licensed Social Worker at the Redwood Area Hospital 507-637-4617.
