RE: Alzheimer's Support Group
DATE: February 25, 2010
The Redwood Area Hospital Alzheimer’s Support Group will be
meeting on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 2:30pm in the Redwood
Area Hospital Meditation Room (located at the main east
entrance).
This group will offer support if you are having difficulty
talking to family or friends about your feelings as you may find
that it is easier to express yourself in a discussion group,
where you can be honest with others who are facing similar
problems. Discussion groups offer a unique way to understand and
cope with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and are
available to care partner’s including family members and loved
ones of those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
The Alzheimer’s Support Group will meet monthly unless otherwise
noted without a fee. These type of support group meetings have
proven to be an excellent place to find information, education,
friendship and support. Discussion and sharing groups will be
led by Natalie Seehausen with assistance from Lynn Buckley, LPN
and Karen Christensen.
