Bridging the Gap

A Program for Children and Teens Grieving the Death of Someone Special

The purpose of this program is to give kids, grades K-12 who have experienced the death of someone special, the opportunity to connect with others "who have been there".

In a caring environment children/teens will be allowed to explore and express their feelings about death and change in their life.

All grief support and educational activities will be guided by social workers, staff, and volunteers from the Redwood Area Hospital Hospice Program.

This group is supported by the Redwood Area Hospital Education Department. For more information concerning this group contact Joleen Johnson, LSW, Social Services Manager at 507-637-4616 or visit our full website at www.redwoodareahospital.org.  A list of classes can also be found on calendar of events.
