Redwood Area Hospital is currently accepting applications for a part-time, benefit eligible Foundation Director / Volunteer Coordinator. This is a combined position reporting to the Hospital Foundation Board and Hospital Human Resource Manager, working cooperatively with hospital staff and volunteers.
The Foundation Director / Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the Hospital Foundation as well as coordinating volunteer activities for the hospital. Responsibilities include creating, distributing, and presenting information about the Hospital Foundation, hospital services, and opportunities to support the hospital through volunteerism or philanthropy. The Foundation Director / Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for contacting potential donors, acknowledging donations, planning fundraising events, coordinating volunteer activities, recruiting and training volunteers, and serving as a liaison for the hospital and hospital foundation.
Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to develop materials, make presentations, organize events, and interact professionally with hospital staff, foundation board members, volunteers, and the public.
