Scope of Practice

Dr. Ryan provides care for cancer and blood diseases. This includes diagnosis and treatment planning for any type of cancer, including nationally available front-line treatments and individualized chemotherapy treatments.

Dr. Ryan coordinates and manages patient care with primary physicians and ACMC oncologic surgeons in the Urology, Gynecology, Dermatology and General Surgery departments, and radiation oncology at the Willmar Regional Cancer Center at Rice Memorial Hospital or outside specialists for acute leukemia or other unusual cancers.

I have been with ACMC since 1987 and previously practiced for 13 years at Park Nicollet Medical Center in Minneapolis. I grew up in New Jersey, and in addition to my formal education, spent five years in the Navy – including one year in Antarctica. I enjoy fishing, boating and motorcycling as well as keeping up with family adventures.
